The colors really pop and draw the eye into the flower with the way that the petals in the background are faded away and they're crisp in the foreground. I love the detail of the snail's feelers/tentacles and the way it's positioned on the flower, as if the petals are cradling it. It's a well rounded shot and you've gotten the composition just right, along with a nice DOF.
I would have liked the petal that's right in front of the snail to be moved so it is more visible, though obviously you cannot really move it and have the shot be the same. Having the flower full frame is also something I would like to have seen, the cropping irks me a tad but I do like the framing past that fact.
This shot is otherwise flawless, definitely superb and skillfully composed.

Great concept!!!!

It’s kind of funny – may even get a few different interpretations. I wish to tell about mine. Yes, this snail obviously have watched the bee’s and bumble bee’s work with bringing pollen and stuff from the flowers to their queens. Now it wants to try the same – it’s searching for another world than the one it usually lives in. Ha-ha, I love it. :+favlove:
