first of all the soft tones take me to a cold quite place full of life and peace, the DOF is amazing and makes me wonder what's behind, it makes me imagine the world were it is all happenning and makes me want to be there. the composition is clean and well balanced even it feels likes everything's falling to the right it's a nice touch and adds something to it. i can see a little movement behing the litle fella and that gives me a sensation of time and reality.

this one is indeed a very beautiful photograph and i love it

The composition was the first thing that struck me, the slanting of the wood adds depth to the photograph. The delacacy of the plant compared to the rough surface of the wood and the round hard snail makes for a very pleasant contrast. Personally, I would have liked the entire snail to be more in focus, although I do like that its face stands out from the rest of its body, I feel that it gets slightly lost amongst the flowers which are much sharper. All in all, a very pleasant piece that gives a sense of tranquility to the viewer, as if he/she is in the moment, silently watching nature pass by.

This is such a gorgeous shot. I love how I want to just sit there and watch the snail move around. The coloring is phenomenal, and the lighting is beautiful. Wonderful shot. Also, thanks for including what lens you use. I am looking for good ones for my Canon and this one has gone on my list.
