Let me start off by saying you've captured a beautiful shot. I love the colors, and the detail you have captured here. You've captured a nice gradient of light/dark that goes very well with this photograph. Your point of focus is very well chosen, and is enhanced by the depth of field that surrounds it. You've chosen a great point of focus, and done a great job of avoiding the 'dead center' blunder.
