When I first saw this delightful snail, blissfully swimming in purple hues, I instantly opened the deviation and squeaked! and added it to my favourites. Why the squeak? Well, I was excited to see a snail, looking so cute, yet elegant; sharp in focus and exploding in some colour.

I have seen many snail photographs, yet not until now, have I seen something that captures it in such a different, colourful and fun way. The perch on the snail is as if it has a tiny little personality, the focus brought to the texture and features of the snail's front area is startlingly impressive. This image, overall, makes me feel as though I am sneaking a peak in this snail's humble little exploratory life.
