I love artists that are creative with titles, because the title here makes my mind go crazy, when were this boots worn, what have they experienced, so much things could have happened in 43 years.

You would think you can't depict a life by showing shoes but i think with the title and the artist's comment the viewers fantasy can go wild thinking about what happened in the owners life.

Composition-wise the shot is outstanding. The depth of field is spot on and the lighting is perfect, it sets a great mood.

I say, brilliant shot with a great idea behind it. It's great for people who like to think further than the technical side of photography.
