Artist's Comments

“Life is full of beauty. Notice it. Notice the bumble bee, the small child, and the smiling faces. Smell the rain, and feel the wind. Live your life to the fullest potential, and fight for your dreams.”

Critiques

:iconronaaa:
The tree that is curling elaborately out of the picture.
The red leaves that let shine through parts of the sky.
The little plant that is presenting itself in an attracting way.

Those have been the first things I've noticed when I looked at your picture.
That mass of beautiful red and white bokeh, that goes so well together, seemed to be the centre of the picture. But then my gaze drifted from the dark tree to that little "new life", the hidden central point. And I understood your title. I admire your view for the smallest things in our world and your ability to capture them in breathtaking pictures.
The only thing I really can criticize is just that fact, that the first look doesn't apply for the tiny plant, maybe you could have displaced the cutout a little bit to the left, so that it would have been placed in the golden section.
I like the square very much, though.

You created another wonderful work the world has been waiting for, Joakim, and you can be sure to receive more critiques from me when you just keep up the great work.

Faaaaanntasstic!

I'm in love with every part of this shot! Colours, composition and depth of field all look great!

I'm really loving the bokeh in the background, it really helps the compostion :D

The focus is just perfect, especially in the foreground, but also the background, though I already mentioned that :XD: The two branches really help the composition by adding an abstract atmosphere because they just go off in completely different directions to the main focus, of the tree.

The colours are just magnificent, because it seems quite minimal, and they're all earthy colours which really compliment eachother.

The only improvement worth noting is the proportions of the canvas. I would make the photo a little thinner ;)

Sam Wild
